McBroom, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, City Attorney The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. ORDINANCE NO.11.51 AN ORDINAME AMENDING SECTION 1, PARTS OF SECTION 3, SECTION 49 SECTION 6 AND PART OF SECTION 13 OF ORDTNA_iCE NO. 915, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 18TH DAY OF JULY, A. D. 1927, EFTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SIGNS OVER TJIE STREETS", SIDEWALKS AND ALLEYS, AND ON TOP OF -BUILDINGS, AND AT OTHER PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR A PVNALTY; REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 1721, 3491 418 AND 4449 AM ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH SAME," IN ORDER TQ ALLOW THE ERECTION OF AI,L METAL SIGNS IN THE CITY OF 717TCHITA FALLS. 11oved by Alderman Bridwell that Ordinance No: 1151 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Bridwell, Deaton, Fox, and Prothro. Nays : None . Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the error in valuation placed on personal property by the Patricia Shop for the year 3931 be corrected by reducing the valuation from $31000 to $640, the actual assessable value, and the taxes on over valuation be remitted. ,. Motion seconded by Aldermn Deaton and carried. ORDINANCE NO. 1150 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM CF THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY FOUR ($3,864.00) DOLLARS OUP OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED BAL- ANCE OF THE WATER FUND OF THE CITY OF W ICHITA FALLS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING PAYMENTS UPON THE REIMBURSRAENT CONTRACTS WITH THE WESTMORELAND PARK COMPANY, J. CARUTHERS (WESTLAKE DRIVM), BERT KING (RIVERCREST), RAY MASSEY AND W. B. CHAUNCEY (HIAWATHA BLVD.), AND FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY SEMI DOLLARS AND FIFTY NINE CENTS ($5,773.59) TO COVER PAYMENT OF CERTAIN BONDS NOT HERETCF.ORE APPROPRIATED FOR WHICH MATURED NOVEMBER 1, 1933, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Moved by Alderman Prothro that Ordinance No. 1150 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Fox and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Prothro, Fox, Deaton, and Bridwell. Phillips for alleged injury sustained while working for the R.F.C. unde: supervision of the Street Department. Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
