The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular called session on the above date with the following
members present:

Moved by Alderman Myers that the following resolution be
adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Myers, Bridwell, Prothro, and Deaton.
Nays: None.
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called to be held
on the 3rd day of April, A.D. 1934, for the purpose of electing a
Mayor and two Aldermen for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected
are hereby designated as Nos. 4 and 5. Said Mayor and Aldermen shall
serve the City of Wichita Falls for the ensuing two years and until
their successors are elected and qualified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with
the laws of the State of Texas and ordinances and Chhrter of the City
of Wichita Falls, made and provided in such cases. The places for
holding said election shall be at the Central Police Station; 11liehita
County Court House; Brown & Allen Drug Store, 1500 Holliday; House No.
2214 Holliday Street; Floral Heights Pharmacy; Avenue H and Giddings
Street Fire Station; 2415 Grant Street; Buchanan Street Fire Station;
Evans Pharmacy; House No. 600 North Broadway, and shall be conducted
by the following named persons:

Railroad track from Wichita River to center of Seventh Street,
thence west along center line of Seventh Street to center of Lamar Street
thence south along center of Lamar Street to Mill Street, thence
south along center of Mill Street to center of San Antonio Street,
east on San Antonio Street to center of Mississippi Street, south
along center of Mississippi Street to Underwood Street, thence east
along center of Underwood Street to California Street, thence south
along center of California Street to City Limits", shall vote at the
Central Police Station Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No.
4, 59 6, and 10, which are included within the following boundary:
"Being that area bounded on the north by Wichita River; on the east
by Fort Worth & Denver Railway from Wichita River to Seventh Street,
bounded on the south by Seventh Street from Fort Worth & Denver
Railway to Lamar Street, thence along center line of Lamar Street
from Seventh to Ninth Streets, along center line of Ninth Street
from Lamar to Broad Streets, along center line of Broad Street from
Ninth to Eleventh Streets, along center line of Eleventh Street from
Broad Street to Brook Avenue; and bounded on the west by Brook Avenue
from Eleventh Street to Wichita River", shall vote at the Wichita
County Court Hotise Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No.
7, 8, 9, 11, and 12, which are included within the following bound-
ary: "Being that area bounded on the east by Lamar Street from Ninth
to Seventeenth Streets; bounded on the south by Wichita Valley Rail-
way; bounded on the west by Brook Avenue from Wichita Valley Railway
to Eleventh Street; bounded on the north by center line of Eleventh
Street from Brook Avenue to Broad Street, along center line of Broad
Street from Eleventh to Ninth Streets; and center line of Ninth
Street from Broad to Lamar Streets", shall vote at the Brown & Allen
Drug Store Box, 1500 Holliday.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precinct No. 17,
which is included within the following boundary: "Being that area
bounded on the north by Wichita Valley Railway; bounded on the east
by center line of Mill Street from Seventeenth to San Antonio Streets,
along center line of San Antonio Street from Mill to Mississippi
Streets, along center line of Mississippi Street from San Antonio to
Underwood Street, along center line of Underwood Street from Mississ-
ippi to California Streets, along center line of California Street
from Underwood Street to the City Limits; bounded on the south by
City Limits; and bounded on the west by Brook Avenue from City Limits
to Wichita Valley Railway", shall vote at House No. 2214 Holliday
Street Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No.
149, 15, and 18, which are included within the following boundary:
"Being that area bounded on the east by Brook Avenue from Wichita
River to Elizabeth Street; bounded on the south by center line of
Elizabeth Street and Avenue C; bounded on the west by center line
of Monroe Street from Avenue C to Tenth Street, along center line
of Tenth Street from Monroe to Taylor Streets, along center line of
Taylor Street from Tenth to Fifth Streets, along center line of
Fifth Street from Taylor to Filmore Streets, along center line of
Filmore Street from Fifth Street to City Limits; hounded on the
north by City Limits and Wichita River", shall vote at the Floral
Heights Pharmacy Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No. 16,
19, 44, and 43 east of Kemp Blvd., which are included in the following
boundary:"Being that area bounded on the north by center line of Avenue
C and Elizabeth Street; bounded on the east by Brook Avenue from
Elizabeth to City Limits; bounded on the south by City Limits; bounded
on the west by center line of Kemp Blvd. from City Limits to Wichita
Valley Railway, along Wichita Valley Railway from Kemp Blvd. to Monroe
Street, along center line of Monroe Street from Wichita Valley Railway
to Avenue C", shall vote at the Fire Station Box located at the corner
of Avenue H and Giddings Street.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No. 24
and 43 west of Kemp Blvd., which are included within the following
boundary: "Being that area bounded on the north by center line of York
Avenue and center of Santa Fe Street from York Avenue to Cumberland
Avenue, along center line of Cumberland Avenue from Santa Fe to Grant
Streets, along center line of Avenue M from Grant Street to Monroe
Street; bounded on the east by center line of Monroe Street from Avenue
M to Wichita Valley Railway, along Wichita Valley Railway from Monroe
Street to Kemp Blvd., along center line of Kemp Blvd. from Wichita
Valley Railway to City Limits; bounded on the south by City Limits;
bounded on the west by City Limits from Arthur Street to York Avenue",
shall vote at the 2415 Grant Street Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No. 23
and 45, which are included within the following boundary: "Being that
area bounded on the east by center line of Monroe Street from Avenue G
to Avenue M; bounded on the south by center line of Avenue M from
Monroe to Grant Streets, along center line of Cumberland Street from
Grant to Santa Fe Streets, along center line of Santa Fe Street from
Cumberland to York Avenue, along center line of York Avenue from Santa
Fe to City Limits; bounded on the west by City Limits; bounded on the
north by City Limits and center line of Beverly Drive from City Limits
to Seymour Road, along center line of Seymour Road from Beverly Drive
to center line of Avenue H, along center line of Avenue H east to
center line of Hays. Street, along center :line of Hays Street from
center line of Avenue H to center line of Avenue G, and center line of
Avenue G from Hays Street to Monroe Street", shall vote at the Buohana
Street Fire Station Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No. 20,
21, and 22, which are included within the following boundary: "Being
that area bounded on the north by City Limits; bounded on the east by
center line of Filmore Street from City Limits to Fifth Street, along
center line of Fifth Street from Filmore to Taylor Streets, along
center line of Taylor Street from Fifth to Tenth Streets, along center
line of Tenth Street from Taylor to Monroe Streets, along center line
of Monroe Street from Tenth Street to Avenue G; bounded on the south
by center line of Avenue G from Monroe to Hays Streets, along center
line of Hays Street from Avenue G to Avenue H. along center line of
Avenue H from Hays west to Seymour Road, along center line of Seymour
Road from Avenue H to Beverly Drive; bounded on the west by center line
of Beverly Drive and City Limits", shall vote at the Evans Pharmacy Box.
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precincts No. 13
and 41, which are included within the following boundary: "Being that
area of city lying north and east of Wichita River to City Limits on
the north and east", shall vote at House No, 600 North Broadway Box.
SECTION 4. Thirty days notice of the time and place of hold.
ing said election shall be given by the Mayor by posting copies of the
election resolution at three public places in the -City cf Wichita Fall,
to -wit: One at the Wichita County Court House, one at the Kemp Public
Library, and one at the Central Police & Fire Station, in said City am

by publishing a copy of this resolution in the Wichita Falls Record
News, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Wichita
Falls published for, at least, one year prior to the date of this
notice and being the official organ of said City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of March, A. D. 1934.
Moved by Alderman Myers that the application of Glen E.
Lambert for a chauffeur's permit be approved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
