The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular session on the above date with the following members
present:
Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor
Leon L. Deaton,
J. N. Prothro,
George D. Fog, Aldermen
Raymond M. Myers, I
J. S. Bridwell, X
V. R. Smitham, City Manager
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the application of ss.M.
Johnson for a chauffeur's permit be approved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the City Treasurer be
instructed to transfer $34,382.50 from the Water Fund to the
Interest and Sinking Fund to pay interest coupons and bonds due
February 10, 1934, as follows:
Refunding Waterworks Series 1930-A, Interest 85,782.50
Refunding Waterworks Series 1930-B, Interest 7,600.00
Refunding Waterworks Series 1930-A, Bonds 21,000.00
$34,382.50
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Myers that the sum of 587.53 be re-
funded to a list of property tax payers submitted by the City
Manager, who have paid 107. penalty on their 1931 taxes instead
of the amount fixed by Ordinance No. 1127.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the meeting be recessed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bridwell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then recessed.
