The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

Leon L. Deaton* j Aldermen

W. E. McBroom, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, City Attorney
Yoved by Alderman Prothro that Alderman Bridwell be ap-
pointed Mayor Protem to act during the absence from the City of Mayor
Walter Nelson, Jr.
Motion seconded by Alderman Deaton and carried.
The Minutes of the previous meeting were readtand approved.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the City Treasure be instructed
to make the following transfer of funds, representing the cost of
material and supplies furnished other departments by the Street
Department:from February 1 to December 31, 1933:

Park Fund 1,750.98
Water Fund 19044.13 Street Fund $6,131.58
Motion seconded by Alderman Prothro and carried.
Moved by Alderman Deaton that the City Council approve C.W.A.
project for labor and repairs to the Wichita General Hospital; total
estimated cost being $2,530.60 and the Cityts part for material approx-
imately $175.00.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fox and carried.
Moved by Alderman Prothro that Judge J. T. Montgomery be em-
ployed as additional special attorney to represent the City in the ap-
peal of the tax suit styled City of Wichita Falls vs Taxman Refining
Company for taxes for the years 1925, 1926, 1927, and 1928, the fee to
be paid Judge Montgomery not to exceed $250.00.

The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
