Moved by Alderman Bridwell that the 1.9ichita Valley Railway
be requested to open a crossing connecting Joline Street and Avenue M.

be appointed as members of the examining Board of Plumbers to replace

AN ORDINANCE MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF TBE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FISCAL YEAR FOR THE
SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL
1, 1933, AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1934, AND DECTARING AN EMERGENCY.

BOARD Oi�AS FITTERS"; PRESCRIBING THE M MBERSHIP OF SAID BOARD; PRE-
SCRIBING FOR EXAMINATION OF AND ISSUANCE OF LICENSE TO GAS FITTERS;
PRESCRIBING THE WORK TO BE DONE BY LICENSED GAS FITTERS; REQUIRING
PERMITS AND PRESCRIBING INSPECTION FEES; PROVIDING FOR INSPECTOR AND
DEFINING INSPECTORS DUTIES; PRESCRIBING SPECIFICATIONS FOR GAS PIPING;

WHEREAS-, IT HAS BEEN NECESSARY FOR THE CITY IN THE ESTAB-
LISHMEFT OF A STREET AND HIGHWAY TO BE USED AMONG OTHER PURPOSES FOR
STATE HIGHWAY NO. 5, TO AC^,UIRE CERTAIN LANDS THAT I"ERE NOT NECESSARY

following deeds be and the same is hereby approved and such deeds -are
hereby confirmed as the act and deed of the City of Wichita Falls,

1. Deed from City of Wichita Falls conveying to Pioneer
Refiners Company the following described tract of land situated in
Wichita County, Texas, to -wit:
All of Lot Two (2) in Block A of the J. A.
Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, except therefrom the following described
part of said lot Two (2) in Block A of the J.A.
Kemp Addition:
Beginning at the N.W. corner of said Lot Two
(2), Block A; Thence E. 274.4 feet along the
N. lot line to a point for corner; Thbnoe S.
40° 181 E. 46.7 feet along the E. right of way
line of location for State Hirzhway No. 5 to a
point in the E. line of Lot Two (2); Thence S.
150.4 feet along the E. lot line to the S.E.
corner; Thence W. 10.5 feet along the S. lot
line to a point for corner; Thence N: 400 18t
W. 73 feet along W. right of way line of loca-
tion for State Highway No. 5, to a point in W.

This conveyance is for the land alone and does
not include any improvements, buildings or
other structures that may be upon said land.
2. Deed executed by Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor, to Dennie 11. Craw-
ford, conveying the following described land situated in Wichita
County, Texas, to -wit:
Lot No. Three (3), Block A of the J. A. Kemp
Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
except a part of said lot described by metes
and bounds as follows:
Be inning at the S.W. corner of Lot No. Three
(3), Block A; Thence N. 150.4 feet along W.
lot line to a point for corner; Thence S. 400
181 E. 89 feet along the E. right of way line
of location for State Highway No. 5 to a point
in the E. line of Lot Three (3); Thence S. 75
feet along E. lot line to the S.E. corner;
Thence-W. 57.5 feet along S. lot line to the
place of beginning.
This conveyance to also include the house and
im rovements now located on said Lot Three
, Block A, and by the acceptance of this
deed the said Dennie 11. Crawford does hereby
agree to move said house and improvements off
of and to clear that part of said lot which
is not conveyed herein on or before 30 days
from this date.
3. Deed executed by Walter Nelson, Jr., Mayor, to A. C. Estes,
Jas. M. Williams and Jno. W. Thomas, trustees for Real Estate Trust,
conveying the following described land situated in Wichita County,
Texas, to wit:
All of Lot No. Two (2), Block Twelve (12),
J. A. Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, as shown by the plat of said
Addition, of record in the County Clerks
office, except that part of said lot which
is to be used and occupied as the right of
way for State Highway No. 5 to the City
of Wichita Falls; such right of way being
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
Two (2), Block Twelve (12); Thence East 7
feet along North Block line to a point
for corner; Thence S. 400 181 Y. 72 feet along
East right of way line of location for State
Highway No. 5 to a point in East line of Lot
2; Thence South 94 feet along East line of

STREET CARS HERETOFORE USED BY IT IN CARRYING PASSENGERS FOR HIRE
OVER THE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIM:I4AY S WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS; PERMITTING THE RIMIOVAL OF STREET CAR TRACKS ,
�Y WIRES, TROLLEY POSTS, AND ALL OTHER EQUIPMENT BELONGING TO THE
W ICHITA FALLS TRACTION COMPANY AND LOCATED UPON THE STREETS AND PUBLIC
WAYS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS; SPECIFYING THE MANNER IN WINCH
MOTO4 BUS ROUTES SHALL BE DESIGNATED; PROVIDING FOR A SEAT TAX; AND
PORVIDING THAT ALL OTHER ORDINANCES NOW IN FORCE RELATING TO THE
OPERATION BY THE WICHITA FALLS TRACTION COMPANY OF MOTOR BUSSES UPON
THE STREETS AND PUBLIC WAYS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS SHALL REMAIN
IN FORCE, AND THAT THE TERMS OF ALL OTHER ORDINANCES NOT SPECIFICALLY
APPLICABLE TO THE OPERATION OF STREET CARS SHALL LIKEWISE RIM= IN

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REMISSION OF PENALTIES AND
INTEREST ON AD VALOREM TAXES THAT WERE DELINQUENT ON OR BEFORE PUrUST
1, 1933, DUE THE CITY OF WICHITA FAITS, TEXAS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT
SUCH PENALTIES AND INTEREST ARE RELEASED, PROVIDED AD VALOREN TAXES
ARE VOLUNTARILY PAID ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 1933, WITH AN ADDITION
OF TWO (21o) PER CENT PENALTY ON SAID TAXES; AND SHALL BE RELEASED PRO-
VIDED SAID TAXES ARE VOLUNTARILY PAID AFTER DECEMBER 31, 19331, AND
BEFORE MARCH 31, 1934, WITH AN ADDITION OF FOUR (4%) PER CENT PENALTY
