Resolution authorizing the replacement of a water pump at North
Beverly Pump Station, by Pierce Pump Company, in the amount of
$69,606.45
WHEREAS, one of the City of Wichita Falls' Strategic Goals is to Provide Adequate
Infrastructure; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to have a reliable pumping system to transfer water
between pressure planes, and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to support the industries in the northern portion of the
City, and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Wichita Falls to sole -source the
purchase of the pump replacement from Pierce Pump Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase the pump
replacement at North Beverly Pump Station from Pierce Pump Company, in the amount
of $69,606.45.
