Ord 40-2020 Rezone 4400 Kemp Blvd from LC to GC 7/7/2020ORDINANCE NO. 40-2020
Ordinance rezoning approximately +/- 1.16 acres of land located at
4400 Kemp Boulevard (Faith Village Subdivision, Section 3, Lot 1-
A, Block 74) and abutting right-of-way from Limited Commercial
(LC) to General Commercial (GC); and amending the Land Use Plan
from Light Commercial to Commercial.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its June 10, 2020 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of this
request; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning amendment is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Faith Village Subdivision, Section 3, Lot 1-A, Block 74 (4400 Kemp
Boulevard — +/- 1.03 acres) and abutting Fleming Drive and Montgomery Place Right -of -
Way (+/- 0.13 acres), as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment "1", is hereby rezoned from Limited Commercial (LC) to General
Commercial (GC).
2. The area on the Land Use Map, as depicted on the attached map
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "2", is hereby amended to change the area
from Light Commercial to Commercial.
