Resolution authorizing the City Manager to reject all bids for the 2020
Seal Coat Project
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2020 Seal Coat
Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that all bids received were over the budgeted amount
estimated at $320,000-1 and,
WHEREAS, to reduce the financial burden on the City's General Fund which is
experiencing a shortfall in revenues caused by the COVID-19.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
All bids for this project are rejected.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of June, 2020.
