RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE
APPLICATIUON OF 22,000 LINEAR FEET OF PAVEMENT MARKING
MATERIAL TO DENNIS PARKING LOT MAINTENANCE IN THE
AMOUNT OF $30,030.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
application of 22,000 linear feet of pavement marking material; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 14, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to contract for the application of pavement
marking at various locations throughout the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the application of
22,000 linear feet of pavement marking material to Dennis Parking Lot Maintenance in
the amount of $30,030.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
