RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 23-2003,
MODIFYING THE 413 BOARD'S MUNICIPAL PUBLIC SAFETY
TRAINING CENTER PROJECT BUDGET; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls City Council did pass Resolution #23-2003 on
March 4, 2003, amending the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation's Fiscal Year
2002-2003 Budget in the amount of $4,659,349 for the Municipal Public Safety Training
Center; and
WHEREAS, $2,367,552 of the bond proceeds will be used for the construction of
the Municipal Public Safety Training Center, thereby reducing the current cash
obligation of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales 4B Sales Tax Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the previous budget amendment is no longer representative of the
cash obligation to the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Resolution #23-2003 is hereby amended to reflect a budget
amendment of $2,017,822 for the Municipal Public Safety Training Center in the 2002-
2003 Fiscal Year Budget of the 4B Sales Tax Board. The remaining $2,367,552 in
funds necessary for the completion of the Municipal Public Safety Training Center will
be derived from the bond proceeds authorized by City Council Ordinance No. 114-
2003.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
