RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THREE (3) ALGAE
SWEEPS FOR THE FINAL CLARIFIERS AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANTS FROM FORD HALL IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,000.00. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls receives excellent results from a custom
designed, manufactured and installed debris control system from Ford Hall Company;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase three (3) additional algae
sweep systems for the Wastewater Treatment Plants; and
WHEREAS, this purchase is exempt from the formal bid process as outlined in
the Local Government Code §252.022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted for the purchase and installation of three
(3) algae sweep systems from Ford Hall Company in the amount of $41,000.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
