RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF A HEAVY-DUTY TRANSIT
BUS FROM LASSETER BUS COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $170,940.00-1
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for a heavy-
duty transit bus for the Public Transit Department; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on September 22, 2003;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a heavy-duty transit bus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted to award bid for the purchase of a heavy-
duty transit bus to Lasseter Bus Company in the amount of $170,940.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
