RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REJECTING THE BIDS FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT PARKING LOT PROJECT; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls opened bids for the Police Department
Parking Lot Project; and
WHEREAS, the apparent low bidder significantly exceeds the engineer's
estimate for this project; and
WHEREAS, the City staff recommends that the bid be rejected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The bid for the Police Department Parking Lot Project is hereby
rejected.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
