RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A 20' WINDROW -COMPOSTING MACHINE TO
SCARAB MANUFACTURING IN THE AMOUNT OF $355,000.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a 20' windrow composting machine; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on June 9, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 20' windrow composting
machine for use at the Sanitary Landfill composting operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is hereby granted to award bid for the purchase of a
20' windrow composting machine to Scarab Manufacturing in the amount of
$355,000.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of July, 2003.
