Ordinance Making An Appropriation To The Special Revenue Fund For
Ryan White Part B Grant Funding In The Amount Of $203,849 Received
From Tarrant County, Texas, And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute
All Documents Necessary To Accept Said Funds
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of Ryan White Part B grant revenue from Tarrant County,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, Health District and Tarrant County, Texas desire to enter into a
contract for HIV preventative services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2011 -2012 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $203,849 for the
Early Intervention Program, and the City Manager is authorized a contract with Tarrant
County, Texas for said funding for the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Health District and
all other documents necessary to accept said funds.
