Ordinance Making Appropriations Into Several City Operating Funds
In The Total Amount Of $150,800 To Complete The Financing For The
City's Narrow Banding Radio Replacement Project
WHEREAS, the 2011 -12 budget included $116,200 to partially fund the cost of
replacing the City's Non - Public Safety Radio System with equipment that operates in a
narrow frequency band to comply with Federal Communication Commission regulations;
WHEREAS, funds were to be included in the 2012 -13 budget for the remaining
cost of the system;
WHEREAS, the City has received bids for the replacement of this system; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to move forward with the entire
purchase of the system during the 2011 -12 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Appropriations to the 2011 -12 budget are hereby approved to the following
operating funds to cover the entire cost for the City's Narrow Banding Radio
Replacement Project:
General Fund $ 65,927
Fleet Maintenance Fund $ 3,568
Water /Sewer Fund $ 39,776
Sanitation Fund $ 41,529
