Resolution approving of the submitted plat applications, Bridge Creek
Estates Preliminary Plat and Bridge Creek Estates, Lot 1, Block 7 Final Plat,
conforming to the Subdivision and Development Regulations of Appendix A
WHEREAS, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Wichita Falls is
currently facing exposure of its citizens to a deadly virus; and,
WHEREAS, on March 19, 2020 Mayor Stephen Santellana signed a Proclamation
Declaring a Local State of Disaster Due to this health emergency; and,
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2020 Mayor Santellana signed a modification to the
Proclamation Declaring a Local State of Disaster suspending ordinance requirements
obligating the "City" to bring applications to boards and commissions; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Texas Local Government Code Sec. 212.009 requires
consideration of a complete plat application within 30 days; and,
WHEREAS, the Plats Committee has reviewed the submitted applications, verified
conformance with state and local regulations, and recommends the approval of the
complete plat applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Bridge Creek Estates Preliminary Plat, as depicted on the attachment incorporated
in this resolution as Attachment "1", is hereby approved.
2. Bridge Creek Estates, Lot 1, Block 7 Plat, as depicted on the attachment
incorporated in this resolution as Attachment "2", is hereby approved.
