1. CALL TO ORDER:
John Fritzsch called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The minutes from December 12, 2019 were put before the Board for approval.
Jim Heiman made the motion to approve the minutes and Sandy Fleming
seconded the motion.
3. DEPARTMENTAL REPORT:
A. RECREATION: Scott McGee
• Recreation annual Trolley Tour along with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus
was a success this year.
• Amateur Athletics Fall Basketball, Volleyball are back in full swing
after Christmas break.
• Second Annual Winter Blast Indoor Soccer Tournament was held at
MPEC on December 20 & 218t. Approximately 12-15 teams
registered
• Hamilton Tennis Center will be resurfacing the courts 9 —12.
B. Parks: Terry Points
• No report, due to Terry Points being out
4. Other Business, Announcements, Comments
• City Clerk Marie Balthrop, attended the Park Board meeting
to swear in new members Crystal Byrd and Caitlyn Wood, before the
meeting was called to order on January 23, 2020.
• Election for new officer's nomination were put before the Park Board:
Marcy Brown Marsden was named Chairperson and John Fritzsch
was elected vice chairperson.
• Sandy Fleming made the motion to approve and Jessica Traw
seconded the motion.
• Update from Blake circle trail
• Update from Stephen on Lake Wichita
• Update from Charlie on MSU Race downtown
5. ADJOURNMENT.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm
