Ordinance appropriating $20,000.00 to the Special Revenue Fund from
the State Farm Good Neighborhood Citizenship Company Grant and
authorizing the City Manager to accept said funds
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been awarded a non -matching grant for
$20,000.00 from the State Farm Good Neighborhood Citizenship Company; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used to purchase a pole mount radar speed
sign, traffic counter, video and computer equipment for auto and roadway safety PSA's.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is appropriated $20,000.00 to the Special Revenue Fund for the purpose of
purchasing a pole mount radar speed sign, traffic counter, video and computer equipment
for auto and roadway safety PSA's for the Community Services Section from the State
Farm Good Neighborhood Citizenship Company.
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept said
funds on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls.
