Resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for and accept a 2020
Coordinated Call for Projects grant in an amount up to $500,000 from
the Texas Department of Transportation
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for improved
transportation maintenance and repair facilities for its bus operations; and,
WHEREAS, construction funding for this proposed facility may be available
through the 2020 Coordinated Call for Projects program administered through the Texas
Department of Transportation; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is an identified recipient to receive 2020
Coordinated Call for Projects funding; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is requesting an additional $500,000 through
the 2020 Coordinated Call for Projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for and accept a 2020 Coordinated
Call for Projects grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, in an amount up to
$500,000, for construction of the proposed repair and maintenance facility for Public
Transportation.
