you to Mr. Wilkinson from Transportation for signs placed in front of Mt. Pleasant Baptist

Councilor Whiteley thanked Chief Prillaman and the Fire Association for those that

Councilor Smith discussed the upcoming Census and stated that everyone counts, and
April 1 is census day. The Census is about fair representation, is a constitutional
requirement every ten years, affects federal funding, and affects redistricting. Taking
part in the census is your civic duty and there are various ways to respond. Last
summer there was a Ride to Read program where young people and parents could ride
the city bus to the library and he would like to continue this again this summer and
possibly year round.
Mayor Santellana discussed the importance of the census and getting a complete and
accurate count, especially in undercounted areas. He asked that as a community we
help ensure our families, friends and neighbors are counted.
