Resolution authorizing a guaranteed maximum price of $2,923,805 in
the Construction Manager at Risk contract with Anthony Inman
Construction, Inc. for Package #1 Work associated with construction
of the Public Transportation Repair and Maintenance Facility
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City staff has validly used the
procedures described in the Texas Local Government Code to obtain construction
manager at risk services for the construction of a new bus public transportation repair and
maintenance facility located on Windthorst Road; and,
WHEREAS, on August 6, 2019, the City Council awarded a contract to Anthony
Inman Construction to provide construction manager at risk services for construction of a
new bus public transportation repair and maintenance facility located on Windthorst Road;
and,
WHEREAS, as part of that contract, Anthony Inman Construction prepared a
Guaranteed Maximum Price for Package #1 for the construction of the project; and,
WHEREAS, the value of that construction contract is established at $2,923,805.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A Guaranteed Maximum Price of $2,923,805 in the Construction Manager at Risk
contract with Anthony Inman Construction, Inc. for the Package #1 construction of the
Public Transportation Repair and Maintenance Facility, is hereby approved with such to
be in a form approved by the City Attorney, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
all documents necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
