Resolution authorizing the purchase and installation of 9 AIRVAC 911
Exhaust Removal units and all other related accessories for Fire
Stations 1 and 2 in the amount of $61,517 from Air Vacuum
Corporation of Dover, New Hampshire.
WHEREAS, the City budgeted $62,000 in the Building Maintenance account for
the purchase and installation of 9 AIRVAC 911 Exhaust removal systems in Fire Stations
1 and 2; and,
WHEREAS, these two Fire Stations do not have exhaust fans to remove exhaust
fumes from the facility; and,
WHEREAS, this is another step being taken toward the health and safety of our
firefighters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The purchase and installation of the 9 AIRVAC 911 Exhaust Removal units and all
other related accessories for Fire Stations 1 and 2 in the amount of $61,517 from Air
Vacuum Corporation of Dover, New Hampshire, is hereby approved.
