The minutes from June 27, 2019 were • before the Board for approval. Marcy
Brown Marsden made the motion to approve the minutes and Jessica Traw
seconded tWe Tiotiov.
LAKE WICHITA REVITALIZATION:
Lake Wichita Revitalization Executive Director Stewart Harvey, presented a offer
to the Park Board members, to fill the vacant seat on the Lake Wichita
Committee. Macy Brown Marsden accepted the offer and Charlie Zamastil made
the motion to approve and Sandy Fleming seconded the motion.
• 45 thousand pansies are being planted around town
• The dead tree removal started though out the city
• 100 plus SAFB volunteers will be helping clean up Riverside
cemetery in November.
0 Loop 11 to Lucy Park circle trail construction starts in next 3 weeks
• Lions Club donation to plant 18-20 tree's in Lions park
0 Medical Alliance group, splash pad fund raising continues, the city
will not be going in as TPWD Grant partners at this time
• Parks met with Jacobie on rehab plans for Spudder Park
• Jacobie presented his plan for the rehab on Spudder Park Pavilion
to

* Halloween in the Park was held October 19 this was the largest wit
over 3,000.00 attending in the last 34 years.
* Amateur Athletics fall softball, volleyball season is coming to an e•
* Registration is going on now for Basketball, volleyball and indoor
soccer.
* Recreation is working on the Winter brochure due out in January f
the spring and summer actives
* The recreation train will be participating in this year's City Lights
Parade on November 23.
