Robin stated that TP&W needs to show progress on the Boat Ramp project, to ensure the Grant schedule will be met. However, since fund raising has not yet started on this project, we have no progress to report. Robin said that if the City gave back the Grant now, that would be OK, since they could use the elsewhere , , o avoid is waiting, then if the Grant schedule is not met, the money would be lost for all purposes. Blake stated that City Council approval will be required to give back the Grant. Stewart then explained the difficulty in getting donations for the Boat Ramp, since we already • + functional Boat Ramp, and donors don't rid for a; + lane boat ramp at Lake Wichita. He will speak with KHA a ask them to create 2 exhibits: One for the $750,000 phase one project to allow installation of the statue, and a second to show the entire project, including the essential elements from the Boat Ramp project.
