Resolution No. 130-2019
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract for
the 2019 Maplewood Extension from Lawrence to McNiel Project to
Chad & Brandi, Inc. dba Wilson Contracting in the amount of
$1,857,164.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2019
Maplewood Extension from Lawrence to McNiel Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Wilson Contracting
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,857,164.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the 2019 Maplewood Extension from Lawrence to McNiel
Project is awarded to Chad & Brandi, Inc. dba Wilson Contracting, in an estimated total
amount of $1,857,164.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for
the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December, 2019.
