Resolution No. 129-2019
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract for
the Hike and Bike Trail from Barnett Road to Seymour Highway to
Chad & Brandi, Inc. dba Wilson Contracting in the amount of
$2,415,008.02
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Hike and Bike
Trail from Barnett Road to Seymour Highway; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Wilson Contracting,
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $2,415,008.02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Hike and Bike Trail from Barnett Road to Seymour
Highway is awarded to Wilson Contracting, in an estimated total amount of
$2,415,008.02, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
Chad & Brandi, Inc. dba Wilson Contracting for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December, 2019.
