Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute An Energy
Services Agreement With Noresco, LLC In The Amount Of $5,143,427
For Installation Of Various Energy Saving Projects And Guaranteeing
A Payback Period
WHEREAS, the City hired Noresco, LLC to perform an energy audit of several
City facilities to determine if there were equipment upgrades and retrofits that could be
performed that would save energy for the City;
WHEREAS, the energy audit indicated that numerous energy projects could be
implemented by Noresco, LLC in the amount of $5,143,427 that will generate sufficient
savings to repay this construction amount and generate $1,628,797 in guaranteed
savings to the City over a 15-year period; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into an Energy Services Agreement
with Noresco, LLC for these projects and guaranteed cost savings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Energy Services
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached
Agreement
and associated documents, with Noresco, LLC, with changes and
attachments as approved by the City Attorney, in the amount of $5,143,427 for
installation of various energy saving projects and a guaranteed payback period.
