Resolution extending the charge to the ad hoc Lake Wichita
Revitalization Committee until July 31, 2027 and extending the terms
of the members
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed the ad hoc Lake Wichita Study Committee
in May 2013, which had an 18-month period in which to address the several items in the
charge to the committee; and the name was changed to the Lake Wichita Revitalization
Committee and that time frame was extended in October 2014; and,
WHEREAS, the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee was set to expire in
November 2017 and the committee requested an extension until November 30, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee time period is extended and
hereby set to expire July 31, 2027.
2. The terms of the current members are hereby extended until July 31, 2027.
