Ordinance No. 56-2019
Ordinance accepting funds in the amount of $34,931.16 received from
the FY 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) and
authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts and other
documents related thereto
WHEREAS, the Emergency Preparedness Program has received notice of the
award of 2019 EMPG funding from the Texas A&M Division of Emergency Management;
and,
WHEREAS,
funds to continue providing services to the city; and,
WHEREAS, these funds were already appropriated through the adoption of the FY
2019 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of
$34,931.16 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with the Texas A&M Division of Emergency Management accepting the
grant and other documents related thereto.
