Ordinance No. 55-2019
Ordinance accepting funds in the amount of $50,000.00 received from
the FY 2019 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) and
authorizing the City Manager, or City Council appointed Authorized
Official, to execute contracts and other documents related thereto
WHEREAS, the Emergency Preparedness Office has received notice of the
award of the 2019 Homeland Security Grant funding from the Texas ;
and,
WHEREAS, Office desires to receive these
funds to conduct Position Specific training to Wichita Falls and NORTEX Regional
responders.
WHEREAS, these funds were already appropriated through the adoption of the FY
2019 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 2019 Homeland Security Grant Fund in the amount of $50,000.00 is hereby
accepted and the City Manager, or City Council approved Authorized Official, is
authorized to execute a contract with the Texas office accepting the
grant and any other documents related thereto.
