Resolution No. 113-2019
Resolution authorizing the purchase of one (1) sewer jetter truck
through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Texas Kenworth
Company dba MHC Kenworth Dallas in the amount of $240,085.72
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that MHC Kenworth - Dallas is offering one (1)
turnkey sewer jetter truck through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative comprised of
the T370 Kenworth cab and chassis and the Super Jet 1600 body, and it is in the best
interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase one (1)
turnkey sewer jetter truck from Texas Kenworth Company through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of $240,085.72.
