Resolution No. 109-2019
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract for
the Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main Rehabilitation Project
to Lanzo Trenchless Technologies, Inc.-South in the amount of
$4,031,096.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Holliday Creek
Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Lanzo Trenchless
Technologies, Inc.-South, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of
$4,031,096.00; and
WHEREAS, Lanzo Trenchless Technologies, Inc.-South has provided
documentation to
showing that Lanzo has an approved alternative to the ISO 9000 qualitiy management
system plan and this alternative is hereby found to be substantially similar and
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main Rehabilitation
Project is awarded to Lanzo Trenchless Technologies, Inc.-South in an estimated total
amount of $4,031,096.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for
the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of October 2019.
