Resolution No. 108-2019
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract for
the Hike & Bike Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park to Scales Concrete
Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $2,388,922.95
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Hike & Bike
Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Scales Construction
Company, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $2,388,922.95.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Hike & Bike Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park is awarded
to Scales Concrete Construction Co., Inc., in an estimated total amount of $2,388,922.95,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the City
Attorney, for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of October, 2019.
