Res 107-2019 Brazos eCitation System Tyler Technologies 10/15/2019
Resolution No. 107-2019
Resolution authorizing The City Manager to execute all documents
necessary to purchase the Brazos eCitation System from Tyler
Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $312,010.
WHEREAS, the 2018-19 Budget included $1,419,192 for the purchase of a new
Public Safety Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Mobile computer
system; and,
WHEREAS, the Police Department was awarded a grant from the State in the
amount of $392,418.26 to assist with the purchase of the servers that will provide the
ability to submit National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) reports to the State;
and,
WHEREAS, the City is using the Sourcewell Cooperative purchasing contract; and,
WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies has provided a Sole Source letter confirming
Brazos is a product of Tyler Technologies, Inc.; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase the Brazos eCitation System from Tyler Technologies, Inc. in the
amount of $312,010.
