Res 105-2019 Accepting Bid 1545 W. Arrowhead Drive Johnny and Susan Long 10/15/2019 Resolution No. 105-2019 Resolution to accept bids as presented for improvements situated on Lot 4, Block A, West Lake Arrowhead aka: 1545 W. Arrowhead Dr. and authorizing execution of the Bill of Sale to convey improvements to Johnny and Susan Long WHEREAS, the City obtained improvements on the leased Lot 4, Block A, West Lake Arrowhead due to the lease being terminated; and, WHEREAS, the terminated leaseholder and owner of the improvements had no desire to remove or sell the improvements located on the lot; and, WHEREAS, on October 3, 2019, 2 sealed bid proposals were received for the improvements; and, WHEREAS, pending approval, it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to accept the bid of $22,001.00 on the improvements and put the successful bidder; Johnny and Susan Long into a lot lease at the current annual lease rate of $1,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents to facilitate the sale to the winning bidder as recommended and indicated by staff on the Bid Form.
