Ordinance No. 51-2019
Ordinance to approve a Fixed Price Right-of-Way Funding Agreement
for a local project with the Texas Department of Transportation for the
state right-of-way as part of the highway improvements of FM 369 near
Taft Boulevard as authorized by the Texas Transportation Code
§201.209
WHEREAS,
Department of Transportation to discuss the proposed work and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has proposed to enter into
an Agreement to Contribute Right of Way Funds for a fixed price of $1,609.00 for the
proposed highway improvement on FM 369; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has agreed to assume
responsibility for acquisition of all necessary right of way and adjustment of utilities for
this highway project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager has been authorized to enter into a local project for a Fixed Price
Right of Way Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the
improvements of highway FM 369 for the fixed price of $1,609.00.
