Resolution No. 93-2019
Resolution authorizing the purchase of one (1) dual engine scraper
through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Warren Power &
Machinery, Inc. dba Warren Cat in the amount of $835,495.13
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Warren Cat is offering one (1) Caterpillar
627K Wheel Scraper through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative and it is in the best
interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase one (1)
dual engine scraper through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Warren Power
& Machinery, Inc. dba Warren Cat in the amount of $835,495.13.
