Res 073-2019 Rejecting Bids for Hike & Bike Trail Loop 11 to Lucy Park 8/6/2019
Resolution No. 73-2019
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to Reject all bids received for
the Hike & Bike Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Hike & Bike
Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that all the bids were higher than anticipated and out of the
budget of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering staff would like to review and adjust the scope of the
work to bring it within budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bids for the Hike & Bike Trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park were higher than
anticipated, and the City Manager is authorized to reject the bids to allow the Engineering
staff to adjust the scope of the project and rebid it.
