RESOLUTION NO. _23-2012_
Resolution Authorizing City Staff To Apply For A Bus And Bus
Facilities Livability Initiative Program Grant From The Federal Transit
Administration For The Construction Of A New Intermodal Downtown
Bus Travel Center
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for the construction
of a new intermodal Downtown Bus Travel Center; and,
WHEREAS, possible funding for such project may be available from the United
States Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration Bus and Bus
Facilities Livability Initiative Grant Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to pursue and
apply for a U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration grant
for the construction of a new intermodal Downtown Bus Travel Center.
