RESOLUTION NO. __19-2012_
Resolution Approving A Sixth Generation Non-Annexation
Agreement With Howmet Castings Industries Incorporated,
Guaranteeing Its Immunity From Annexation For A Period Of Five
Years Beginning January 1, 2012
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a fifth generation
non-annexation agreement with Howmet Industries, Incorporated for a period of five
years from January 1, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to extend that agreement for an
additional five-year term under similar terms and conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a sixth generation non-
annexation agreement with Howmet Castings Industries, Incorporated, effective
retroactively to January 1, 2012, a copy of which is attached hereto.
