Resolution awarding bid and contract for the 2019 Armstrong Drive
Road Rehabilitation Project to Chad & Brandi, Inc. dbaWilson
Contracting in the amount of $1,297,286.40
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has provided grant funds for the
reconstruction of Armstrong Drive in the amount of $1,167,557.76; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will provide the local match requirements on
this grant in the amount of $129,728.64; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2019
Armstrong Drive Road Rehabilitation Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Wilson Contracting,
which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,297,286.40.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the 2019 Armstrong Drive Road Rehabilitation Project is
awarded to Chad & Brandi, Inc. dba Wilson Contracting, in an estimated total amount of
$1,297,286.40, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form
approved by the City Attorney, for the construction of such project.
