Ordinance No. 22-2019
Ordinance amending the fiscal year 2018/19 Water Utilities Budget and
authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services
agreement with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the design of the Lake
Kickapoo Dam Rehab in the amount of $240,300
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls operated and maintains Lake Kickapoo as a
water source for the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, there is a need to make dam repairs to ensure protection of this
valuable water source; and,
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the 18/19 Water Utilities budget to include
these proposed costs; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls secured a professional services agreement
with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the design of the Lake Kickapoo Dam Rehab in the
amount of $240,300.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a professional service agreement with
Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the design of the Lake Kickapoo Dam Rehab in the amount
of $240,300.
