Ordinance No. 21-2019
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
Public Health Emergency Preparedness in the amount of $60,000
received from the Department of State Health Services and authorizing
the City Manager to execute contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services desire
to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2018 - 2019 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $60,000 for the
Emergency Preparedness program, and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls-Wichita
County Health District.
