Resolution No. 56-2019
Resolution authorizing award of contract for the purchase, installation
and maintenance of Turnout Gear Extractor Washer Systems to Gear
Cleaning Solutions, LLC. in the amount of $77,389.39
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested proposals for the purchase of
commercial laundry equipment for the purposes of cleaning and/or decontaminating
structural firefighting personal protective equipment; and,
WHEREAS, proposals were received and opened on May 31, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Gear Cleaning Solutions, LLC. is a highly
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff are authorized to execute all documents necessary to enter into contract
with Gear Cleaning Solutions, LLC. to purchase, install, and maintain seven (7) turnout
gear extractor washing systems in the amount of $77,389.39.
