Ordinance No. 18-2019
Ordinance rezoning approximately +/- 11.57 acres of land located at
Lot 1 & 2, Block 7, West Side Addition; Lots 1, 2, 16 & 17 less ROW
and 1-19, Block 21-A, Highland Addition known as 2800, 2802 and 2804
Grant Street and 2700 Kell Boulevard and abutting Kell Boulevard
Freeway Right-of-Way from Limited Commercial (LC) to General
Commercial (GC); and amending the Land Use Plan from Light
Commercial and Low Density Residential to Commercial
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
Zoning and Land Use Plan change at its May 8, 2019 meeting, and voted to recommend
approval of this request; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendment is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Lot 1 & 2, Block 7, West Side Addition (2800, 2802 & 2804 Grant Street +/- 0.37
acres), Lots 1,2,16 & 17 less ROW and 1-19, Block 21-A, Highland Addition (2700 Kell
Boulevard - +/- 0.77 acres) and abutting Kell Boulevard Freeway Right-of-Way (10.43

, is hereby rezoned from Limited Commercial (LC) to General Commercial (GC).
2. The area on the Land Use Map, as depicted on the attached map incorporated in
this ordinance as , is hereby amended to change the area from Light
Commercial and Low Density Residential to Commercial.
