Resolution No. 49-2019
Resolution rejecting all bids for the asbestos abatement of fourteen
(14) properties
WHEREAS, the City received bids for the asbestos abatement of fourteen (14)
properties on April 29, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 29, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, the cost to abate the properties far exceeded the anticipated project
cost; and,
WHEREAS, ireject all bids, re-advertise and solicit
bids with a new due date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City hereby rejects any and all bids received for the asbestos abatement of
fourteen (14) properties.
