Ordinance No. 13-2019
Ordinance appropriating $392,418.26 to the Special Revenue Fund
from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, FY 2019
NCS-X Implementation Assistance Program, Grant Number 3712501
and authorizing the City Manager to accept said funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been awarded a non-matching grant for
$392.418.26 from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, FY 2019 NCS-X
Implementation Assistance Program; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used to purchase the records management
system software and equipment for the conversion from the UCR reporting system to the
NIBRS Reporting System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is appropriated $392,418.26 to the Special Revenue Fund for the purpose
of purchasing software and related equipment for the NIBRS Reporting System from the
Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, FY 2019 NCS-X Implementation
Assistance Program, Grant Number 3712501, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept said funds on behalf of the City of Wichita
Falls.
