Resolution No. 28-2019
Resolution authorizing award of bid to CDW Government LLCin the
amount of $127,941.36 of server hardware to support the new Public
Safety TriTech Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management
System, and Mobile Data System.
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of replacing public safety computer system
applications including Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Mobile Data
Systems; and
WHEREAS, as a part of this project, new computer servers are needed to replace
the existing servers which are in excess of 7 years old; and,
WHEREAS, a quote was received from CDW Government LLC through the
contract for the purchase of these servers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An award of bid is hereby authorized to CDW Government LLCin the amount
of $127,941.36 for server hardware to support the new Public Safety TriTech
Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management System, and Mobile Data
Systems
