Resolution authorizing award of bid for the purchase of two 1-ton
service trucks from the low bidder, Wichita Falls Ford -Lincoln, Inc., in
the amount of $81,173.92
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of two 1-ton
service trucks; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 28, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder was Wichita
Falls Ford Lincoln, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff are authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase two 1-
ton service trucks from Wichita Falls Ford -Lincoln, Inc., in the amount of $81,173.92.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of February, 2019.

COMMENTS:
Unit 1820 wi I I be repurposed. The origin a I unit years ago was a 1-ton that was irrepairable and temporarily
replaced with the 3/4-tnn.
Unit 1825 is being replaced due to age, high mileage and the rising costs of repairs. It will be sold at auction.
